  • Approx. 50-minute walk, approx. 3 km, 100 metres ascent, starting from the property, passing through the forest to make a loop through the village.
  • Departures for walks from Les Bruyéres de Gaschon and also from the village of St Bonnet le Froid.
  • The Chemin de St Régis passes through our village, and you can reach it from the house (at the Col des Baraques, just before taking the GR down to the left, follow the sign to the house).
  • Le grand FELLETIN, departure from the house (20 km round trip, 560 m ascent) or from St Julien Molhesabate, 10 km away.

The Ardèche train

Discover the Doux gorges by train! The Doux is a right-bank tributary of the Rhône that has carved deep gorges in the Ardèche plateau. Since 1891, the route of the Train de l'Ardèche has featured a succession of magnificent views and engineering structures. A truly historic and cultural heritage!

The Ardèche train

The Velay Express is a historic tourist train that runs between Raucoules, Tence, Le Chambon-sur-Lignon and Saint-Agrève, in the heart of the unspoilt countryside of the Haute-Loire and Ardèche. It is run by an association of enthusiasts who bring this metre-gauge line from the Vivarais network to life, introducing passengers to the railway heritage of yesteryear on board steam locomotives and vintage railcars. 

This train offers a truly timeless ride, winding its way for around 27 km through meadows, forests and gorges, with a track culminating at an altitude of over 1,000 m, making it the highest steam train in France.

The Parcours Aventure de l'écureuil is located in the heart of a 300-hectare forest. You'll find 10 courses to suit all abilities, with courses for groups, schools, families and individuals!
From the yellow course for children aged 3 to 6 to the Super Noir course for experienced athletes, there's something for everyone!
